On the 24th of February 2011, Huthwaite was featured in a televised broadcast of Moving America Forward. The episode was an interview with the president and CEO of Huthwaite Incorporated. Now let us go back to learning how to roll our own cigarette. First of all, we will need a rolling paper. Most rolling papers are exactly identical in design so there is basically not much said about it in the video. The rolling paper should have a little cut in the corners and a crease in the middle.

Next, you are going to need a filter. The author of the video do not particularly like smoking without filters. Filters also make it easier to roll the cigarette. This filter is positioned on one end of the rolling paper on top of the crease in the middle. Take some tobacco and place it loosely beside the filter filling the remaining portion of the crease in the middle. Make sure there is a little bit of gap at the other end of the rolling paper opposite the filter because the tobacco would start moving outwards when you begin to roll the paper and spill out. Remember to roll the paper and not the tobacco. Hold the edges of the paper together using your fingertips until it forms into a nice and neat sausage shape. Slightly roll one end of the paper inwards. Then roll the entire cigarette up to the upper edge and seal it to keep the tobacco inside. That is how you hand roll your own cigarette.
